Drug peddlers held in Changlang

Despite strict vigilance, drug menace is still prevalent in many parts of Arunachal Pradesh.  Police arrested two drug peddlers at Nampahi-II village in Changlang district on Monday. 

Acting on a tip off, a police team along with members of Women Welfare Association in Miao held a 20 year old girl along with her company 19 years old and seized 10 gm contraband brown sugar from their possession. Police registered a criminal case under NDPS Act against the duo.
