Tuki wants IT office

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki moved the Centre seeking  income tax office in Itanagar much to a convenience of the people. 

During his meeting with the Chairperson of the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Anita Kapur in New Delhi recently, he requested Kapur to set up the office in the capital town.

Arunachal Pradesh governor JP Rajkhowa and Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has conveyed greetings to the people on the occasion of Pham-Kho-Sowai, a popular festival of the Bugun Community of West Kameng District. He hoped that the festivity will usher in happiness, peace, bumper harvest and prosperity for all.
With a view to bridging the gap with the common people, the Arunachal Pradesh Raj Bhawan will remain open on every Sunday. According to information, the people, especially school children would have the opportunity to tour the compound. Despite strict vigilance, drug menace is still prevalent in many parts of Arunachal Pradesh.  Police arrested two drug peddlers at Nampahi-II village in Changlang district on Monday. Acting on a tip off, a police team along with members of Women Welfare Association in Miao held a 20 year old girl along with her company 19 years old and seized 10 gm contraband brown sugar from their possession. Police registered a criminal case under NDPS Act against the duo. 
Tirap Deputy Commissioner is set to crack the whip on the mushrooming growth of chit fund companies. Acting on a set of complaints deputy commissioner Ravi Jha said that he would not remain silent if these ponzi schemes lure the investors promising returns in Tirap and Longding districts. He cautioned the people not to indulge in such fraudulent schemes. He has set up help line number 03786-222222 and SP office: 03786-222261 to move the authority.The DC office has already received a complaint against RELIANT (INDIA) NIRMAN LTD headed by Ratan K. Dey and Nirmal Karmakr. Investigations are going on.  
The public health engineering & water supply department is bracing up for a grim financial crisis. An astronomical amount of money has yet to be realized from the central and state government offices in the division. The department has missed the revenue target because of the unrealized amount.The entire situation has forced the deputy commissioner to step in. Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak has asked all departments to clear the pending bills to avoid penalty charges.
