Rape triggers protest in Goreswar

Thousands of people hit the streets in Goreswar demanding exemplary punishment for the driver and his associate who allegedly gangraped a minor girl inside their bus on Sunday.

With banners and festoons, local residents in Goreswar came out of their homes asking police to immediately to nab the driver and his assistant.

They said that they will keep agitating till the perpetrators are brought to book. “The minor girl must get justice,” said a protestor.

The happened on Sunday where the driver and his assistant gangraped the girl confining her inside the bus at night after arriving from Guwahati.
