A Supreme Court panel will be meeting on Tuesday to end the ongoing Gauhati High Court deadlock over the public interest litigation.
Convened by Chief Justice of India HL Dutte, the meeting will be attended by Justice Ranjan Gagoi, Justice A.M. Sapre and Justice Amitabh Roy, who will deliberate on the contents of the memorandum submitted by the lawyers’ body of the Gauhati High Court on Sunday.
A Gauhati High Court Bar Association delegation met CJI in New Delhi on Sunday who assured them of steps to short out the issue.
