NDFB thrashed in Udalguri

A pro talk NDFB leader was arrested in Udalguri after local residents in Dalgaon area thrashed him for an attempt to kidnap a businessman on Friday night.

Local residents told Assam Times that a three member armed group of NDFB started indiscriminate firing at a businessman to kidnap him in Dalgaon at around 9-30 in the evening.

Identified as Kamal Sanyashi, the businessman sustained injury and fell on the ground. Amid hue and cry, the eyewitnesses thronged the spot forcing motorcycle born ultra leave the spot.

Identified as Anil Basumatary the militant also started running away in the face of the crowd. But he was overpowered. The businessman was rushed to the hospital. But the crowd thrashed the captured militant to be handed over to police.
