Assam Congress president Bhubneswar Kalita, Education minister Ripun Borah, BPP(F) chairman Hagrama Mohilary have all praised the Gogoi government saying it has been success on all fronts.

This is more or less of what several speakers said at a function organized on Sunday at the historic Judges’ Field. In his address Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said the state is marching during his tenure and pinned hope on peoples’ participation for make the government schemes a success.
He charged the AGP and BJP of trying to mislead the people of Assam with mispublicity and urged the people to be aware of these elements. He said his government’s performance is non comparable to what it was during the AGP tenure. He also charged ASDC and BJP alliance with fomenting trouble in North Cachar hills district saying spurt of violence came up as soon as the BJP-ASDC alliance came to power in the hills autonomous council. He also announced a Rs 1,000 crore Assam Bikash Yojana for the next three years besides a slew of schemes for the welfare of the people of all walks.
