Floodwave awaits Assam

Assam is bracing up for yet another devastating flood wave if the weather condition is any indication. Weathermen on Monday predicted heavy rainfall in the foothills of Himalayas over the next week raising the possibility of the flood wave.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon is set to bring very heavy rainfall in the foothills of Himalayas which could help the Brahmaputra swell its water level
