Trafficked girl in West Bengal hospital

Despite a set of stringent laws human trafficking still persists where the victims are section of poor girls. A girl from Sivasagar district has been battling for life at a West Bengal hospital after she was sexually molested in the metropolitan city for the last one week.

According to information, she was taken to Kerala from her home district luring job in the southern city. But she was halted in West Bengal to be sexually molested at a room in Chandannagar area in the state.

She suddenly fell ill on Saturday to be rushed to the hospital for treatment where the entire incident came to light.
The accused have been identified as Nirmala Das and Abdul Hakim. Police investigation is going on.
