Encephalitis toll 66

The killer Japanese Encephalitis continues to wreak havoc in the state claiming at least 66 people this year.

Among the worst affected districts were Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Golaghat, Dhemaji and Kamrup.

According to confirmed reports, severity is lesser this year than the previous years forcing the government to take it very seriously.
