Red carpet for Himanta

The Asom Gana Parishad is fully prepared to roll out red carpet to Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma who is contemplating to quit the ruling party.

Encouraged by the recent but secret meeting with the former minister, the AGP held its executive meeting at its headquarters on Wednesday where all leaders agreed to welcome Dr Sarma.

Later talking to reporters, president Atul Bora said they would welcome anybody who can repose faith on regionalism.
