ULFA alert in upper Assam

Stunned by the Tinsukia incident, security forces are put on alert apprehending more ULFA attack on businessmen.

Sources told Assam Times that army, police and central para-military forces are fanning in the upper Assam districts in search of the culprits who killed trader and his daughter in Bijuliban area on Tuesday evening.

On the other hand, a section of local residents blamed Union home minister Rajnath Singh for his provocative statement which was why ULFA launched the attack to make its presence felt.
