APCC gets tougher with dissidents

A section of senior Congress leaders seem to have landed in trouble a couple of days after they spoke ill of the party leadership.

Namely Bolin Kuli, Hiranya Bora, Rana Khan, Adil Shah and Diganta Kalita, they have received notices from the party leadership with seven days time to clear their position to escape stern action.

Party leadership is firm on action against these leaders if they fail to turn up with satisfactory explanation six months ahead of the assembly polls.

PCC chief Anjan Dutta is believed to have been preparing to firmly deal sternly with all these leaders for anti-party activities. Sources told Assam Times that the party would never spare een the senior leaders.
