Some sensational revelations have surfaced on online sex women trafficking when police interrogated a youth who was arrested in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Police sources told Assam Times that during interrgation they extracted some crucial information on the notorious racket which is available on the net. Identified as Luhit Kalita, the youth who works with a hotel in Paltanbazar has been running the racket luring a section of girls from Lakhimpur district with a job portal.
Police raided his rented room in Rupnagar area immediately after he was picked up from the hotel where he was working. Police officials probing it refused to divulge the details of the revelations for investigation. The interrogation will continue for the next couple of hours for more leads.

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is scheduled to visit Kokrajhar on Saturday in the time of ethnic clash that has so far left 42 people killed. Dr Singh, who happens to be a Rajya Sabha member from Assam, is set to visit the refugee camps during his day long visit to the worst-hit district. The prime minister is likely to visit parts of Chirang district along with Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to take stock of the situation.
