Student bodies in Assam and its neighbouring north eastern states want Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special initiatives to end the immigrant issue. In a letter, AASU and North East Students' Organisation urged Modi to take up the burning issue with Bangladesh government during his visit to the neighbouring country on June 6
