Barhoongka to participate in ASPL

The Baarhoongka Athletic Club (AC) is all set to participate in the first ever Assam State Premier League (ASPL) being to be hosted by Assam Football Association on and from May 29 across the state.

The Baarhoongka AC has launched its preparation to take part in the ASPL at a programme held at its club office ground today in Kokrajhar.

Hemendra Nath Brahma,president of AFA launched the club and hailed club’s participation in the league and wished its championship through talented performance.

The launching session was chaired by Janamahan Mushahary,president of the club.Mushahary said that his club has got chance to participate in the league and expressed his hopeful that club will bring championship in the final match displaying talented performances.

He said that the club has capacity of 22 talented players including two Nigerian,one each from Mizoram and Manipur,two from West Bengal.

He said that Baarhongka club will take first on Green Valley Football Club at KDSA ground on May 31,besides the club will play ten times in the league game.

Mushahary said that the club has been preaparation its level best to show excellent performance in the games.

Among others,sports organisers Maguram Balary,Saradha Prasad Paul were also present.
