Steel depot in Silchar

Union minister for steel and mining Narendra Singh Tomar has announced a steel depot in Silchar. 

Tomar who was on a visit to Guwahati on Tuesday set up a 3 member panel headed by MGKV Bhanu to start the initial works. 

Towards the evening, he met chief minister Tarun Gogoi in Dispur and discussed coal block allocation. 

He further addressed the party workers at a meeting in the state party office.
