1 killed in clash

In yet another clash that sends shock and anger, miscreants killed a local youth in Kamrup on Thursday. 

The clash took place at Bihdiya in Chaygaon at a bihu function in the wee hours where Tirth Das received grave injury to be shifted to GMCH where he died. 

Police, meanwhile, held local youth Ranjit Kalita in this connection. 

Talking to Assam Times, the local residents blamed liquor consumption for the incident.
