NE CMs stand united

The chief ministers from the north eastern states are seeking a date from prime minister Narendra Modi to properly reiterate the demand to retain the special category status for the 8 states. 

In a joint letter to Modi, they said that the move do away with the treatment would make it difficult for them to concentrate on development. 

Sources told Assam Times that Modi would finalise the date this week itself.
