Hundreds of people from Assam are leaving for Nepal in search of their near and dear ones who have been remaing traceless after the massive strike that rocked the Himalayan kingdom.
Over 3000 people are leaving for Kathmandu by bus and train to seek their relatives, mostly of whom went for eye treatment.
They told Assam Times over telephone from Nepal that they are hoping against hope as the traceless people, mostly have not surface. An inclement weather and collapsed communication network made it difficult to expediate relief and rescue operation.
