Moderate tremor strikes NE: A 7.4 moderate tremor struck the north east and other northen states on Saturday noon triggering no less panic among the people.
The tremor rattled the north eastern region at 11.48 noon for 50 seconds forcing many panic stricken people in Guwahati to come down to the streets from the high rise buildings.
The epicentre of the earthquake occurred some 29 km ESE of Lamjung, Nepal according to According to United States Geological Survey (USGS).
