Steps to uplift Kamakhya

An ambitious plan is on the anvil to uplift Kamakhya temple. This was what Mahendra Singh told reporters when the union minister was on a visit to the ancient temple on Saturday. 

Singh announced a Rs 4 crore fund to give the shrine a fresh lease of life. 

Singh said the Centre would set up projects in all states to popularize Dr Bhupen Hazarika across the nation.
