NRC, Assam Accord implementation and deportation of Bangladeshi immigrants are dominating the All Assam Students Union’s Dudhnoi Convention which is underway. Talking to Assam Times, AASU leaders said that they have already finalize action plan to fight for pressurizing Delhi and Dispur to flawlessly update the NRC apart from sealing the Indo-Bangla border to prevent further influx from across the border.
The entire course of action, however, would be announced at the open session on Thursday, said a senior AASU leader. Some other resolutions are waiting to be passed in the executive body meeting of the state’s influential student organization.
