Speaker suspends Sherman

Speaker Pranab Kumar Gogoi suspended MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed from the Assembly on Monday for refusing to stop asking supplementary questions even after the Zero Hour.

Gogoi repeatedly asked the MLA to stop the supplementary question after the Zero Hour. But he refused to halt. When Ahmed continued to raise supplementary questions beyond, the Speaker suspended him for the day.
