Dimapur incident; 6 held

Nagaland police have arrested six youths in connection with the Dimapur incident where a rape accused died in mob attack.

Senior police officials told Assam Times that six youths were held after identifying them in video footage. Operations are on to nab others who were involved in the inhuman attack on Syed Farid Khan whom the mob dragged out of the Dimapur Central Jail to be lynched on the street.

The police officials refused to divulge the details of the progress of the investigation before media saying that no one would be spared if found guilty.
