Health Check-up for scribes in press club

Dispur Hospital has organized a general health check-up camp for scribes and other media employees along with their close family members in Guwahati Press Club on 11 March 2015 (Wednesday). The camp will start at 10 am sharp and continue till 2 pm. The participants will get the benefits of blood sugar test, lipid profile, thyroid check and ECG (in need).

The attending doctors of Dispur Hospital including Dr Brajendra Lahkar (medicine), Dr TA Choudhury (nephrology), Dr Dippy Aggarwal (gynaecology), Dr PK Bhatta (orthopaedics), Dr Chandan Modak (cardiology) with Dr Abhishek Debnath, Dr HK Bordoloi and Dr Banajit Chaudhury will provide necessary consultations to the participants. Dr Jayanta Bardoloi, chairman cum managing director of Dispur Hospitals Pvt Ltd, Ganeshguri, Guwahati-6, is also expected to grace the occasion for a brief period.

For an authentic reading of lipid profile, the interested participants have to come to the camp with an empty stomach (at the most a cup of red tea without sugar) with vegetarian food on previous night, informed Ujjal Saikia, the public relation officer of the hospital. Member-journalists of the press club with other participants are requested to participate in the camp on time for their own benefits.
