Enough is Enough: No strike

The Assam government on Sunday banned any form of strike by employees of National Health Mission under Essential Services Maintenance (Assam) Act, 1980.

Government officials told Assam Times that strike won't be allowed to disturb the common people. Strike in any form would be a punishable offence.

The government decision came up when employees of National Health Mission are on strike affecting health services to press for fulfilment of their demands.
