All Assam Students’ Union takes serious note of Narendra Modi’s open support to the Indo-Bangla land deal. The state’s influential student body has criticized the prime minister hours after he backed the deal at a rally in Guwahati on Sunday.

AASU observed that the people of Assam are dead opposed to the deal and instead the Indo-Bangla border should be sealed if the Centre is really interested to stop influx from across the border.
