I won’t contest in polls: Himanta

Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Wednesday that he would not field himself in the election till CBI exonerates him from Saradha scam.
Minutes after CBI’s 8 hour long interrogation at the CGO Complex in Kolkata, the former minister said that he would request his party leadership not to field him in the polls till his innocence is not proved.
According to him, there is political conspiracy against him and that CBI has summoned no powerful persons to be interrogated in this connection.
