MLA feels unsafe, seeks security

Sotea MLA Padma Hazarika has moved Dispur seeking special security guards in view of stepped up activities of NDFB-S militants in his constituency.

Hazarika, who has been representing Sotea in Sonitpur district for the last several years called on Chief Minister principal secretary MGVK Bhanu in Dispur on Thursday seeking for security guards saying that the militants were targeting him.

In his letter he handed over to Bhanu, Hazarika said that he feels unsafe with five PSOs from the Sonitpur police forcing him to move the government for special security.
