5 NDFB-S militants held in Guwahati

Despite heavy presence of security forces Guwahati has become a safe route for a section NDFB-S militants to be shifted to Myanmar. Police on Thursday captured five dreaded NDFB-S militants from three different places during an operation against the banned outfit.

Three militants were held at ISBT before leaving for Nagaland en route to Myanmar while two others were arrested from the Guwahati Railway Station while they were waiting to leave for Dimapur by train. Another dreaded militant has surrendered before the police on Thursday.

They have been identified as Rabilal Narzary alias Shayaram Narzary, Amit Boro alias Paban, Protap Narzary, Sanjib Basumatary and Kishna Daimary.
