NEU FC play draw against Goa FC

North East United FC and Goa FC fought to defeat each other. But the thrilling affair at the third ISL match in Guwahati ended in a 1-1 draw at the packed Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on Sunday evening. Both the guest and home teams gave a brave fight in the second half of the match. But to no avail.  

Earlier, Gregory gave Goa an early lead in the match with a splendid goal against the home team in the first 16 minute amid a great ambience at the packed Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.  But it did not last long with Koke who played it for North Feast United FC equalizing with a goal in the 36th minute.

The third ISL match in Guwahati started as soon as the clock struck at 7 in the evening.  ISL chairperson Nita Ambani and her husband Mukesh Ambani are also present along with many other notable personalities in the evening who turn up before 6 in the evening.   

NEUFC was defeated at the hands of the Atletico de Kolkata on Thursday in Guwahati. Same it was in the case of FC Goa Chennaiyin FC beat by 1-2 at home. NEUFC have three points from two games.
