Manas opens on Sunday

Come Sunday. Manas National Park is gearing up to open for the tourists. The park authorities have been busy in the dressing the park afresh. Preparations are afoot.

Altogether 65 local youths have been trained up on nature guide. The training was imparted in a joint initiative under the Manas Tiger Conservation Foundation along with NGO support from ATREE, WWF-India, Aaranyak, WTI, Manas Ever welfare Society, Saving Tigers and Manas Jeep Safari Association. Dozens of tourists from the country and abroad have already arrived the district who have been camping in the nearby lodges.
