Gogoi alleges discrimination

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi accused the Centre of not taking up flood situation seriously. Talking to reporters in the sidelines of a function in Guwahati on Thursday, Gogoi alleged that the Centre was looking after Assam and Jammu and Kashmir differently. He said that Jammu and Kashmir received special treatment from the Centre in the time of the recent flood. Flood is not perennial problem in J&K like Assam. But the Centre’s treatment is different.
