NASA visit for ten toppers

Ten HS and HSLC toppers this year are all set to leave for USA on a 12 day educational tour next month. Courtesy Dispur. The Assam government is making all arrangement to take the toppers to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

According to an official statement, the entire tour will be sponsored by the 'Deba Kumar Bora Memorial NASA Visit 2014' for the first three HSLC toppers and first position holder of 12th standard in each of Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

During the 12 days tour, the students would be taken to John F Kennedy Space Centre, University of Florida, AT&T Bell laboratory, Benz manufacturing factory, and visit Washington and New York cities.

Ayush healthcare system to train rural youths

The Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Rural Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop skilled manpower for the Ayush healthcare system.
