7 poachers held in Kokrajhar

Despite round-the-clock vigil, Indo-Bhutan border in Kokrajhar district has become a safe heaven for the poachers.

Security forces guarding the areas along the international border have arrested eight poachers on Monday.

According to the police, the poachers were arrested at the Ripu Reserve forest as they were trying to strike.

Seven muzzle loaded guns and ammunitions have been recovered from their possession
