The preliminary stage of interrogation ends. The CBI team probing the multi crore Saradha scam has allowed Sadananda Gogoi and Rajesh Bajaj to go from Kolkata office.
But sources say that the country’s premier investigation agency is not so satisfied with their revelations during the first round of interrogation at CGO Complex at Salt Lake in Kolkata.
Gogoi, the filmmaker Sadananda Gogoi who took money from Saradha for making an ad film apart from his role in the a few dirty deals between Saradha boss and a circle of Guwahati based polwerful political leaders, was interrogated thrice.
Bajaj, ensured the dirty deal between Sen and Matang Sinh for investment in a Guwahati based news channel was interrogated for fifth time on Sunday.
The CBI team is preparing an interim to its Central office with details such as those arrested, questioned, places it raided and seizures made.
In his purported letter, Sudipta Sen had told CBI that he did not get back Rs 28 crore from Matang Sinh after the deal between him and former Union minister to takeover of a news channel.
