Yet another minor girl was raped after she was taken away to Madhya Pradesh assuring her of a comfortable job where six persons including a state BJP leaders have been arrested.
The incident came to light on Thursday evening during a police routine checking on Ujjain road. Policemen stopped a car and found a 15-year-old girl in the captivity of four men.
The girl revealed the police that she was lured by a person from Doipang area near Guwahati. She was brought to Mumbai for a job. But only to be raped by by few persons.
Later, she was brought to Indore in Madhya Pradesh where a middleman Raja alias Rakesh allegedly sold her to a woman agent, Mumtaz after taking money.
Mumtaz later handed over her for Rs 4,000 to four persons including Dewas Municipal Corporation’s Revenue Inspector Sabir alias Lal, a corporation employee Rohit Jalodia, BJP leader Hamid Sadar and Yaqub Sheikh whom police have arrested.
The allegedly took her to a secluded place in a car for physically exploiting her but started abusing her in the vehicle itself.
Sabir allegedly raped the girl and was subsequently caught by police on the way back.
The accused would be sent to Guwahati for further probing the incident.

October 14, 2025 - Students from Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School emerged victorious in the Assam State finale of the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge, defeating competitors from 109 other schools in what organizers called one of the most competitive rounds in the program's 18-year history.
