Nagaland waiting for peace

  Nagaland has appealed to the people of border areas to exercise restraint to help both the states restore normalcy at an earlier date.

Home Minister Y Patton and Lok Sabha MP from the State Neiphiu Rio said since there is a Supreme Court appointed mediator for amicable settlement of the issue, the people should cooperate in maintaining peaceful atmosphere in the border areas so as to facilitate an acceptable solution for both the States.

The minister assured that the government will do whatever it can within its disposal to resolve the present crisis. //
