AGP protest on Aug 14

 Asom Gana Parishad will continue to oppose the government’s anti-people policies.

The Oppositio party leaders are scheduled to meet governor JB Patnaik on August 13 where they would submit a memorandum seeking his intervention.

Further, AGP along with other like minded opposition parties will stage a sit-in demonstration on these issues on August 14.

The regional party finalized it at an all-party meeting on Thursday at its headquarters in Guwahati.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the CPI, NCP, Samajwadi Party, UPF, CPI-ML, besides the representatives of the AGP.
