GNLA militants killed in encounter

 Security forces claimed to have killed two militants of the Garo National Liberation Front in an encounter with the Army at Hudakona in Nalbari district on Thursday.

According to information, the gun battle took place in the wee hours where the militants were killed on the spot.

An improvised explosive device, three grenades, and two 9mm pistols were recovered from the slain ultras.
