16 injured in Tinsukia blast

As many as sixteen people have been injured while a powerful bomb exploded in Tinsukia town at around 1 pm on Saturday. According to information, the blast took place at the busy GNB Road in front of a grocery. The injured people have been rushed to the hospital. High level police and civil officials have arrived in the spot to start operation. Meanwhile, one more crude bomb have been recovered just before a while. Details are awaited.

The Bangladeshi supporters have masterminded this blast. I am sure their plan is to kill the bihari labours and replace them with Bangladeshi parasites.

3 blasts rock lower Assam; 2 injured

Three blasts early in the morning have dampened the spirit of the 62nd Independence Day celebrations in Assam. According to information, two blast have jolted Dhubri in the morning. The first one is near the Mahamaya tank while another took place in Dhubri town where two have been left injured.There is yet another blast at Kajalgaon in Chirang district. 23 years of Assam Accord: AASU staging demo in the city

The All Assam Students Union activists are sitting in strike in the city from Thursday morning in protest the government failure to implement the Assam Accord which was signed by AASU and the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi 23 years ago. AGP executive meeting on Aug 26
