Will AICC retain Gogoi as CM?

Will Tarun Gogoi be able to complete his term as Chief minister? All eyes are fixed on June 23. AICC pulls up its sleeves to end dissidence at a brainstorming session in New Delhi.

To be chaired by vice president Rahul Gandhi, the meeting is expected to discuss the strategies for the 2016 assembly polls in presence of chief minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita along with AICC leaders Ahmed Patel, Dr CP Joshi, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Motilal Vhora. Party high command was believed to have contemplated change in chief minister to end the CLP crisis. But according to sources, there is hardly any possibility of change in chief minister.

Notably, AICC leaders on Thursday gave hint of change in Assam chief minister after the crucial meeting slated for June 23.
