Himanta in Delhi to meet Sonia

Health and education minister Dr Himanta Biswa has been camping in New Delhi to call on Congress president Sonia Gandhi to formally raise the demand for change in CLP leadership.

According to sources, Gandhi is unlikely to meet Dr Sarma on Wednesday. However, the dissident minister is free to meet Dr CP Joshi, Dr Ghulam Nabi Azad and Motilal Vhora who have been monitoring the widening difference within the Congress legislative party.
