Pro-Gogoi team returns

The 5 member delegation who demand Tarun Gogoi to b retained as Chief Minister is back to Guwahati a day after they met the AICC panel.

The have not revealed the details of what they talked to the three member panel.

But the team lead by power minister Pradyut Bordoloi, was believed to have told the panel that the they party has to pay the heavy price of dissidence in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

They were further learnt to have told the senior AICC leaders that replacement of Gogoi as chief minister would put the entire party on the brink.

Led by Dr Ghulam Nabi Azad, the three member panel set up by Sonia Gandhi would submit the report before Congress president Gandhi will take the final call.
