Concern over rhino poaching

The Centre is takingserious note of the rhino poaching cases in the Kaziranga National Park.
This was what Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal told reporters after holding a huge convention of the party in the national park on Friday.

He said that Union forest and environment minister Prakash Javadekar would soon visit the wolrd heritage site now riddled by repeated rhino poaching incidents.

Sonowal further said that he would take up rhino poaching and immigration issue of the national park in the soon to be held cabinet meeting.

He further said a high level probe would unearth the truth adding that if proved no minister, forest officer would be spared.
