Rain water surging flood fears

Surging rain waters threaten to submerge parts of the state on Wednesday.

The Brahmaputra and its tributeries start overflowing following the incessent rains in the catchment areas during the last couple of days.

If these rains continue to lash the state the water levels of the mighty river would touch the danger level which would mean flood misery in the first wave.
