BJP leader slams Gogoi

Amid deescalating tension in Kokrajhar and Baksa district, BJP leader P Chandrasekhar on Sunday charged the Congress government in Assam with fomenting trouble in the BTAD areas.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, the BJP veteran said that Congress have been funding the insurgents operating in the region.

Blaming it all on the government’s failure to deal with the violence, Chandrasekhar further dared chief minister Tarun Gogoi to take action against those accused by the victims’ family members.
