Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha said on Monday that the move for allowing arms to the villagers in the name of self defence would result in a disaster.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi, the former Union finance minister said that infusion of arms among the villagers would create nothing but civil war.
He further said that the government has been failing to firmly deal with the situation and that’s why, it is a move to surrender before the trouble mongers by allowing arms among the villagers.
