Security forces claimed to have killed two hardcore KLNLA militant during an encounter in Karbi Anglong district on Friday.
The encounter took place at Borbeel in Howraghat area on Friday midnight during a combing operation where the militants died on the spot.
Police further claimed to have seized weapons from their possession. The Karbi militat outfits have been unleashing terror in the area during the last couple of months forcing security forces to step in
