Altogether 11,16,930 voters are exercising their franchise in Dibrugarh constituency where Lok Sabha polling began at 1,5,35 booths from 7 in the morning.
Altogether 345 booths have been sensitive while 143 booths have been identified as hyper sensitive.
The voting will decide on the fate of 6 candidates who are locked in a triangular contest AGP, Congress and BJP.
Congress candidate and Union minister Pawan Singh Ghatowar is facing a keen contest with his BJP counterpart Rameswar Teli while AGP candidate Anup Phukan is also powerful in some pockets.
The voting will end at 4 in the afternoon and counting would take place on May 16.
